How to Apply for an E-Visa (If You Don’t Qualify for Exemption)
If you don’t meet the residency requirements, you can apply for an E-Visa online. It is simple and avoids airport anxiety.
Official Website: Only use www.evisa.gov.ge. Avoid agency scams.
Cost: Approximately 20 USD + Service Fee.
Processing Time: 5 working days (Apply at least 2 weeks before travel).
Documents: Passport scan, Photo, UAE Visa copy, Hotel Booking, Flight Ticket.
Documents You Must Carry (The “Airport Pack”)
Even if you are “Visa Free,” the Immigration Officer at Tbilisi or Kutaisi airport can still ask for these. Have them printed in a folder:

Original Emirates ID
Copy of UAE Residence Visa (or digital copy on UAE Pass app)
Confirmed Hotel Booking (Booking.com confirmation is fine)
Return Flight Ticket
Travel Insurance Certificate (Mandatory 2026 rule)
Cash: Carry at least 2,000 AED worth of USD or GEL to prove you can fund your trip.
